Nail Technician & Massage Therapist Needed
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Nail Technician and Massage Therapist to join our vibrant team. We are a salon offering a variety of treatments and we are looking for new therapist to join our team. We are hiring for both services but it would be ideal if one person could offer both.
We are looking for someone who can offer the below massage treatments:
Deep Tissue, Reflexology, Indian head massage, Sports massage, Hot stone, Swedish, Aromatherapy, Lymphatic Body & Face massage .
As a Nail Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional nail care services to our clients, ensuring their satisfaction and promoting a relaxing and enjoyable experience. You will utilise your knowledge of nail anatomy and techniques to deliver high-quality manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements.
We are looking for people who are passionate in the services they offer and enjoy what they do.
This is for a part- time role working Wednesdays, Fridays & Saturdays. 18 hours a week with the chance of working more eventually if there is a demand for it.
Duties
- Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, acrylics, gels, BIAB, builder gel and nail art.
- Offer a variety of massage treatments.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the work area and tools.
- Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable treatments.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in nail care and beauty to provide clients with innovative options.
- Educate clients on proper nail care techniques and aftercare products.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat visits.
- Answer client calls and take bookings/payments.
- Help cleaning the salon.
- Help with social media when needed.
Experience
- 3 years and above experience as a Nail Technician is required.
- 2 years and above experience required for a massage therapist.
- Knowledge of anatomy related to nails and massage is essential for providing safe and effective services.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- A valid qualification in nail technology or beauty/massage therapy is advantageous.
