Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of anatomy and a passion for helping clients achieve relaxation and relief from tension through various massage techniques. This role requires excellent communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to create a calming environment for clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough client assessments to understand individual needs and preferences.
- Provide a range of massage therapies, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage.
- Maintain accurate client records and treatment plans while ensuring confidentiality.
- Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage techniques to enhance service offerings.
Qualifications
- Valid certification in massage therapy from an accredited institution.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as required.
- Previous experience in a spa or wellness setting is preferred but not essential.
