What will the apprentice be doing?
As a Marketing and Sales apprentice, you will play a key role in generating new business reaching out to potential customers via phone, email, and social media. You will be responsible for introducing our services, nurturing leads, and booking meetings or passing qualified leads to our sales Manager. You will also market offers to our existing customer base daily with a view to increase the average spend per customer.
- Conduct outbound calls, emails, and direct messages to prospective & current customers.
- Introduce the company’s products & services to generate interest.
- Communicate offers to prospective and existing customers.
- Qualify leads and book appointments for the Sales Manager.
- Maintain accurate records of all outreach and lead activity through CRM.
- Assist in creating and distributing basic marketing content (emails, messages, templates)
- Report daily progress and results to the Sales Manager.
- Support marketing campaigns and follow-up efforts as needed.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer Standard:
The structured part of your apprenticeship training will be provided by JBC Skills Training, we are a specialist technical IT training provider. You will also learn on-the-job, working alongside experienced colleagues.
Training dates will be confirmed once you start the apprenticeship. Delivery is fully remote via classroom training.

Desired skills and personal qualities
- Previous experience in telemarketing, telesales, customer service, or a similar role would be advantageous but not critical.
- Confident and clear communicator, both spoken and written - critical skill.
- Self-motivated and results-driven - critical skill.
- Comfortable with cold outreach and handling objections professionally - critical skill.
- Basic computer skills (CRM systems, email, social platforms)
- Reliable, punctual, organised and able to work independently towards targets set by manager.
Qualifications
- GCSE or equivalent English (Grade A*-C or 9-4) essential
- GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade A*-C or 9-4) essential
