Imagine a world where every small business has the power to thrive. That's the world we're building at iwoca. Small businesses aren't just statistics – they're the heartbeat of our communities, the character of our high streets, and the engine of our economy. Since 2012, we've revolutionised how these businesses access finance, turning what was once a lengthy, frustrating process into something remarkable: funding that's fast, flexible, and actually works for modern businesses.
Our impact speaks for itself: we've provided billions in funding to more than 150,000 businesses across Europe, making us one of the continent's leading fintech innovators. But we're just getting started. Our mission? To empower one million businesses with the financial tools they deserve.
We combine cutting-edge technology and data science with genuine human understanding to make finance feel less like a barrier and more like a superpower. Whether it's managing cash flow or seizing unexpected opportunities, we ensure businesses get the funds they need – often within minutes.
We are looking for a Marketing Executive to drive our increasing focus on supplying the sales team with warm leads. This is a hands-on role where you’ll manage the email channel by writing compelling campaigns, experimenting with personalisation, and using data to constantly improve performance.
Working closely with our sales team, you’ll make sure they have a steady pipeline of high-quality leads. You’ll also get the chance to test new ideas (like AI-driven automation and targeting) and play a key role in shaping one of our most important lead generation channels. If you’re ambitious, creative, and love seeing the impact of your work on real sales results, this role is a perfect fit.
What you’ll be doing
Plan, build and send email campaigns that create engagement and deliver warm leads for the sales team.
Track campaign performance (open rates, click-throughs, conversions, A/B tests) and use insights to improve targeting, content, and timing.
Write and edit on-brand, high-impact email copy that gets attention and drives action.
Test new ideas—including personalisation at scale and AI tools—to keep our approach fresh and effective.
Working with core channel (and compliance/brand) stakeholders to deliver the first version of email copy for each campaign, leveraging insights from monthly call listening.
Partnering with relevant sources to collect a repository of competitor creative inspiration.
Provide monthly reporting on campaign results and creative testing.
Maintain audience lists and manage unsubscribes (a bit of SQL is required, but we are happy to upskill this area).
Optimise and maintain our CRM (HubSpot), making it easier for the sales team to identify opportunities.
Supporting the Demand Generation Manager on key day-to-day activities, which may include: warm lead provider management, inbound lead screening, Account Based Marketing support, and intent score modeling.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Be confident in analysing email campaign performance (e.g. open rates, click-through rates, conversions, A/B test results) and using this data to recommend and implement improvements to subject lines, content, segmentation, and send times to drive engagement and ROI.
Be naturally curious and keen to learn from the wider team.
Have strong copywriting skills and an excellent eye for detail.
Be a strong communicator and comfortable collaborating with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and seniority levels.
Be well organised, able to effectively manage their time in accordance with priorities.
Be curious about AI, specifically interested in how it can automate and personalise content at scale.
Why join us?
Be at the centre of sales growth—your campaigns will have a direct, visible impact on revenue.
Work in a fast-growing business where you’ll be trusted to take ownership from day one.
Collaborate closely with a dynamic sales team and see how your work drives real results.
Get hands-on with new marketing tools and approaches, from AI personalisation to advanced CRM optimisation.
Clear opportunities for career growth, with a path into marketing leadership.
