The purpose of the role
To develop, implement and manage marketing content and communications across multiple channels. This includes social media, digital media and occasionally print, and to support the Managing Director develop communications to stakeholders.
What you’ll be doing
· Develop and implement a marketing strategy
· Create visually engaging and compelling content including newsletters, blogs, case studies, and promotional campaigns
· Develop and implement social media strategies across LinkedIn and Instagram
· Work closely with external industry body to produce and implement educational programme for trainee golf professionals. This includes retail thought leadership content in written and video form
· Work with the MD on building her personal brand on LinkedIn through thought leadership content and networking
· Work with external designer to continue and finalise development of new company website
· Email marketing: Develop and implement “Tech Stuff”, our fortnightly email newsletter, software update announcements and the MD’s monthly email communication to our customer base
· Write a monthly article for the PGA Monthly magazine. This will include working closely with customers and interviewing business owners.
· Collaborate with other teams to ensure marketing initiatives align with overall business objectives
· Conduct market research to identify trends, customer insights and competitive intelligence that can inform marketing strategies
· Monitor and report on campaign performance
· Manage internal communications to ensure consistency and alignment with company goals
· Assist in organising and executing events
· Attend network meetings or events that will improve stakeholder or local business relationships for Xpos
We’d love to meet someone with
· Demonstrable experience in a marketing role (ideally B2B)
· Creative, detail-oriented and able to work independently
· Proficiency in social media management tools and platforms
· Proficiency in Mailchimp for email marketing, and Canva, or similar graphic design software
· Knowledge of SEO best practices, AI and experience of using Google Analytics
· Proficient in use of Wordpress
· Confident communicator with organisational and presentation skills
· Self-motivated – with the ability to work on own initiative
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £35,000.00 per year
