Job Role: Marketing Executive
Reporting to: Commercial Manager
Hours of work: Full time – Monday to Friday
Location: Remote with Travel
Overview:
Anima Care UK, trading as The Pet Crematoria Family is looking for a brand-new role as Marketing Executive. As this is a new role, it offers an opportunity to lead and shape our marketing initiatives whilst working flexibly from a remote location.
About us:
The Pet Crematoria Family is dedicated to arranging a fitting farewell for beloved pets. By offering the support and expertise of our crematoria teams, bereaved pet owners can choose a cremation service that is as unique as their much-loved companion.
We offer a dignified service to all pets through our individual or communal cremation options, unique caskets and urns, pet keepsakes range and home collection service. Our equine and pet cremation services care for all pets, great and small, with the respect that they deserve.
We support vet practices around the UK to arrange cremation for their clients, as well as remain present in our local communities with the option to visit each of our crematoria, the opportunity to reflect in memorial gardens or make use of a private Remembrance Room.
We currently have 7 pet crematoria sites based in:
- Paignton, Devon
- Cobham, Surrey
- Runcorn, Cheshire
- Scunthorpe Lincolnshire
- Witton Gilbert, Durham
- Larkhall, Lanarkshire
- Rossendale, Lancashire
Key Responsibilities:
- Chair the marketing committee, driving strategic initiatives and ensuring alignment with Anima Care UK commercial strategy.
- Lead in the development and implementation of B2B and B2C marketing strategies and initiatives.
- Report on marketing performance to key stakeholders.
- Oversee the company website, ensuring content remains engaging, compliant and aligned with business objectives.
- Content planning, creation and optimisation of social media presence across multiple platforms.
- Strategic and tactical execution of creative and engaging marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, and social media.
- Manage, design and copywriting for print, literature and materials.
- Create and manage the production of regular engaging newsletters.
- Direct photography and videography projects – including briefing, scheduling and quality control.
- Collaborate with various teams, internal and external stakeholders to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints.
- Organise Trade Show activity.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proficiency in content management systems and social media management tools.
- Strong skills in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Digital marketing skills including website CMS and social media management.
- Keen eye for detail with excellent copywriting, design and proof-reading skills.
- Professional understanding of photography and videography fundamentals.
- Experience in brand management and guideline development.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with service industry or veterinary projects is a plus but not essential.

Salary:
- Up to £40,000 Full Time Equivalent
Working Conditions:
- Predominately home based with the need for travel to one or all of the above sites and Head Office (Leeds) occasionally.
