About the role:
Acamar Films is looking for a proactive and highly organised Marketing & Communications Assistant to support our growing Communications team.
Reporting to the Head of Communications, you will provide essential day-to-day support across marketing, social media and press activity, ensuring that key projects and partner deliverables are coordinated smoothly and efficiently. Key responsibilities:
- Promote and embody the Bing DNA and IP in all of your work.
Marketing support:
- Support the delivery of marketing campaigns under the direction of the Head of Communications.
- Help manage campaign calendars, trackers, and timelines across multiple workstreams.
- Assist in drafting and formatting presentations, internal updates, and partner materials.
- Coordinate asset approvals, localisations, and delivery to internal and external stakeholders.
- Help prepare campaign toolkit, including imagery, copy and guidelines
- Monitor and respond to the marketing approvals inbox and circulate reports
- Work closely with the Licensing, Publishing, Experiential, Digital, Production, Sales & Distribution, Finance, Video and Design teams
- Collaborate with freelancers, licensees, licensing agents, retailers, costume character suppliers and agencies
- Manage the marketing toolkit, ensuring it’s up to date and delivered as and when required.
- Contributing to the evaluation of work, collecting and analysing data and working with colleagues to assess the impact of marketing and communications.
- Help update and maintain influencer contact lists
Social Media support:
- Assist the Social Media Manager with campaign planning, basic reporting and the translations process
- Track key trends, content performance, community feedback, competitor activity and best practice activations, reporting back to the team
Communications support:
- Support the creation of press releases and stakeholder announcements
- Liaise with internal teams to coordinate press assets
- Help update and maintain press contact lists
- Help maintain an accurate communications database
General team support:
- Schedule meetings and take notes when needed
- Maintain team documentation and shared files
- Support with communications planning, marketing campaigns, and social media activities, as directed by the Head of Communications
About you:
- 1-2 years of experience in a marketing or communications role
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Proactive and solutions-driven
- Strong written communication skills and a proactive attitude
- Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with calm and clarity
- A team player who is comfortable working with multiple departments and stakeholders
- The ability to manage own workload effectively and assess priorities to meet conflicting deadlines, often at short notice and under pressure.
- Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills
- A strong interest in marketing and social media
- Genuine passion for children's entertainment, both in the UK and internationally
- International language(s) is a plus
