Job Summary
We're looking for a motivated Marina Operative to join our team at Poole Yacht Club. We are looking for the right candidate to invest in our club, in return we will invest in you with some great opportunities to start you career in the marina industry
You'll assist with the daily operations of the marina, including vessel handling, maintenance, and providing excellent customer service to our members and visitors.
A trainee marina operative is involved in the daily operations of the boatyard, including vessel handling, maintenance, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with launching, lifting, and storing vessels.
- Manage berthing spaces and ensure safe boat entry/exit procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of marina facilities.
- Provide customer service and respond to queries.
- Support marina staff with general duties and events.
Requirements
- Enthusiasm for working in a marina environment.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
