Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled who can use one of our luton van to work on personal basis and pay us the usage of the van on weekly basis. Further information will be available at the interview stage.
Duties
- Operate flatbed lorries for the transportation of goods to designated locations.
- Ensure timely delivery while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to maintain mechanical integrity.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding delivery schedules and requirements.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods in a warehouse setting, ensuring proper handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance logs.
Experience
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with commercial driving certification.
- Familiarity with flatbed lorries and their operation is highly desirable.
- Previous warehouse experience is an advantage, along with basic mechanical knowledge for vehicle upkeep.
- Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with clients and team members effectively.
- A valid driving licence is required, with a clean driving record preferred.
