We are looking for someone to join our expanding and inclusive team. The hours will be from 11am-3pm Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the nursery
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, mealtime, and naptime
- Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the nursery area
- Follow all health and safety guidelines
Skills:
- Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of child development principles and practices
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to handle challenging situations calmly
- Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a collaborative work environment

Pay: From £12.10 per hour
