We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Porter to join our hospitality team. As a Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the premises while assisting guests with their needs.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, ensuring a positive first and last impression.
- Assist with luggage handling, including transporting bags to and from guest rooms.
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas, including lobbies, corridors, and outdoor spaces.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, demonstrating exceptional guest services.
- Ensure that all equipment and facilities are well-maintained and in good working order.
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
- Manage phone etiquette effectively when answering calls from guests or other departments.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hospitality or hotel environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong guest services skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences for visitors.
- Excellent phone etiquette for effective communication with guests and team members.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse clientele.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required by the business needs.
- A friendly disposition with strong interpersonal skills to engage positively with guests and colleagues alike.
