We are seeking a Logistics Planner assistant to join our team at Shackleford Pianos and it's sister company Expert Piano Removals. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the coordinating the logistics for our piano transport operations, and piano servicing appointments to ensure efficient and economical management of our transport team and technical team's time. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining our reputation for excellence in service.
Responsibilities
- Plan most effecient routes for both transport and servcing teams
- Coordinate with customers appointment times for piano removals and deliveries, and servicing visits.
- Organise accomodation when needed.
- Direct Market to customers regarding annual and bi annual piano servicing.
- Keeping customers servcing histories up to date.
- Talking with customers to organise effecient and timely appointments, both by telephone and email.
- Some assisting marketing team in implementing better direct marketing methods.
- Requirements
- Ability to communicate well both in writing and verbally.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel and other office software (e.g., Word).
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Leadership experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Pay: £12.21-£12.22 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
