The successful candidate must be reliable, self-motivated and have a strong desire to learn new skills. Be able to use his or her initiative as well as working as part of a team.
A DBS Check will be carried out prior to employment.
Duties will include: -
- Making and Receiving telephone calls / emails from Customers and Locksmiths
- Provide accurate advice and security recommendations on all Security products
- Installation, opening service and repair of Locking mechanisms
- Serving customers in a busy trade counter environment
- Accepting and processing deliveries
- Some manual handling requirements
- Assemble and service of all lock types
- Cut all key types
- Preparing stock for jobs, stock control and ordering. Repairing old locks, building cylinders etc.
- Programming car keys to vehicles using latest automotive locksmithing technology
Skills Requirements
- Excellent telephone manner
- Computer Literacy
- Great communication skills
- Driving license
- Self-motivated with great attention to detail with a flexible approach to problem solving
- Good common sense
- Locksmithing experience is essential
- Company vehicle provided

9am to 5pm. Wednesday
9am to 6pm. Thursday
9am to 5pm. Friday
No Weekends or Bank holidays
4 weeks paid holiday per year
