Schenk UK formally known as Suttons Tankers are an innovative national tanker haulage business, that operates a nationwide road tanker fleet which has been successfully serving the chemicals, gas, fuels, waste, and powders sectors for over 60 years, and is the largest chemical transporter in the UK.
The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Class 1 LGV Fuel Driver to join our team based at Harwich, working a Thursday to Monday nights shift pattern.
Pay Rates:
- £18.04 per hour with 10 hour guarantee per shift
- £1,62 per hour for all night shift hours worked

£27.06 per hour overtime (applicable after 8 hours worked Monday-Friday and first 5 hours on Saturday)
- £36.08 per hour overtime for Sundays and after 5 hours on Saturday.
- £162.32 per day bank holiday, plus paid day in lieu
- £36.17 per Night shift worked
FULLY PAID BREAKS and paid ADR & CPC Refreshers
Essential Requirements:
- An LGV Class 1 licence with no more than six points
- A tachograph card
- A Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
- A valid ADR licence all classes other than 1 & 7
- A strong understanding of Driver Transport Legislation
- A safety focus
- Minimum 2 years Class 1 experience
- At least 2 years Tanker Experience
- A valid PDP (Petroleum Driver Passport)
The Package:
Expected earnings on these shift patterns are typically £850-£1,300 per week / £45,000 - £50,000 per year. Please note these figures are indicative earnings for this group, actual earnings will vary depending on the hours worked.
In addition, overtime is available, CPC training hours, courses and CPC accreditation and driver medicals are all paid for. Full PPE is provided.
