Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to manage and lead a team, and a genuine drive to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners.
Duties
- Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote children's development across all areas of learning.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive community.
- Manage daily nursery operations, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children and families.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and development.
- Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in childcare and early education.
- Support the professional development of junior staff through mentoring and guidance.
Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare (e.g., Level 3 Diploma or equivalent).
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development.
- Ability to drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's educational offerings.
