Holiday Inn Shepperton is looking for an energetic Leisure Assistant to join our friendly and passionate team.
Nestled in the peaceful Surrey countryside, just minutes from the River Thames and a stone’s throw from London, our hotel is a hidden gem for guests and team members alike.
What You’ll Be Doing
Product Operations
? Ensuring the club is presented in the appropriate condition at all times ensuring the appropriate daily, weekly and monthly checks are being completed.
? Screening all potential Club users using company approved procedures relating to the CRM Membership System and Health Commitment Statement (HCS).
? Conducting the member induction fitness programs with a view of promoting member behavior change and maximizing Personal Training.
? Cleaning all areas of the club and supporting the Leisure Club Manager to ensure compliance to the cleaning and hygiene regime and standards.
Financial
? Achievement of new member sales, renewals and net membership growth metrics.
? Provide accurate weekly and monthly figures to deadlines.
? We operate as a cashless club
Commercial
? Support the Club Management Team to implement actions communicated from London Rock Partners in relation to central marketing plans to drive New Member Sales and Membership Headcount.
? Support the Club Management Team in relation to local marketing initiatives to drive New Member Sales, Membership Headcount and the Clubs position in the community.
? Support the Club Management Team in maintaining the CRM enquiry/prospect system in line with company policy and SOP to fully utilize data capture and follow up.
? Support the Club Management Team in maintaining the CRM membership system in line with company policy and SOP to fully support member retention and secondary revenue lines.
? Support the Club Management Team in maintaining retention levels utilizing company SOP’s, Retention Tools.
? Support the Club Management Team in driving secondary revenue lines and activities in club (including Sports Retail, Food Beverage and Personal Training).
Health Safety
? Ensure you are working in accordance with all SOP, EAP, SSoW Risk Assessment operational procedures.
? Following all emergency and evacuation procedures.
- Ensure all security incidents, accidents and near misses logged accordingly in line with company process in a timely manner and brought to the attention of the Club Management Team where applicable.
- Demonstrate a pro-active approach to operational, maintenance or facility equipment issues and escalate through the appropriate channels if applicable.
- Demonstrate a pro-active approach to operational best practice to maximize pool water hygiene in both pool and spas in accordance with company SOP.
- Demonstrate a pro-active approach to Health Safety at all times and support the Club Management Team relating to the Riskproof / Shield audit.
PERFORMANCE MEASURES
? Achievement of all guest satisfaction metrics.
? Brand metrics and company objectives.
? Compliance with Health and Safety.
? Achievement of agreed personal targets and objectives.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a similar service industry role or holds a relevant Fitness or Leisure Qualification.
- Pool Water Safety Qualification of Pool Responder or Higher (Desirable – training can be provided)
- First Aid at Work Qualification (Desirable – training can be provided)
