About the role
We are looking for an experienced Legal Secretary/Administrator (Client Care Leader) to join our dynamic Commercial Property team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to advance their career within a reputable and expanding firm. The successful candidate will provide proactive and high-quality administrative support at our North Herts (SG9 0RU) office with occasional travel and support required at our Cambridge office.
What this role would include
- Deliver comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to Solicitors and Partners.
- Prepare and manage Land Registry applications and associated forms.
- Complete and submit Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) forms.
- Draft legal documents and correspondence with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Manage file administration, including billing, file opening/closing, and archiving.
- Coordinate appointments and maintain team diaries.
- Liaise effectively with clients, agents, and third parties.
What we are looking for
- Prior experience as a legal secretary within property or conveyancing.
- Familiarity with legal case management systems is desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
