About Us

BCNO combines two long established educational institutions - the British College of Osteopathic Medicine and the European School of Osteopathy. We provide two osteopathic degrees via a Masters and a Modified Attendance course. We have two campuses - one in London and the other in Kent.

About the Role
We are seeking a Lecturer to deliver 60 hours in Semester 2 of Y4 Business & Practice Management teaching in London (online/F2F) on a Friday afternoon.

The role of the lecturer is to convey their passion and enthusiasm for the subject they are teaching, create a welcoming environment, foster a sense of belonging and respect. You will encourage high performance and active engagement, while promoting critical thinking and intellectual curiosity. From the outset you will establish and communicate expectations of how the students should behave and interact in the syllabus by modelling professional standards.

The role of the Business and Practice Management lecturer is to teach skills relevant for the programme level. To pass on their knowledge and experience of the taught subject to educate future osteopaths and support our osteopathic community.

Encourage a reflective learning environment where students feel safe to practice and develop their skills ready to use when they qualify. Support the student experience by giving constructive feedback and developing continued learning.

About You

You will be a registered Osteopath with the General Osteopathic Council and will have at least 3 years' experience post registration experience. We are particularly interested in candidates who have osteopathic teaching experience. Your passion for Osteopathy will be in abundance and you will be the type of person who can effortlessly encourage and stimulate students' learning.
