Independence Support Ltd (ISL) operate a supported living service and outreach services in Pudsey, Leeds; offering intensive support to individuals with varied needs including learning disabilities. The role will include working with people who may present challenges.
We are looking for a full time flexible, reliable and committed people to join our team in providing outcome focused support, enabling people to live as independently as possible in their own home building skills, independence and vocation.
Staff will follow support plans and support clients with the following:
- Medication
- Daily tasks
- Manage tenancy
- Community access
- Communal involvement
- Emotional support
- Appointments
- Liaise with healthcare professionals
We are looking for staff to cover a variety of hours and shift patterns including days and nights. All staff will be required to work flexibly across a 7 day rota in order to meet the needs of the people we support.
Although you will be predominantly based in Pudsey, you may be required to travel to and work at various locations and sites across Leeds as determined by the needs of the business.
Full induction training will be provided however some experience of working in a similar setting is desirable as the circumstances of the people being supported will be complex.
All appointments are subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
