The Role
- Loading and operating CNC Laser Cutting Machine to cut steel into a variety of forms.
- Producing materials as detailed in Technical Engineering drawings.
- Unloading machine and checking parts to ensure all materials produced are meeting high quality standards.
- Maintaining machine to ensure it is running at maximum efficiency, repairing and ordering parts as required.
- Altering cutting parameters of machine, adjusting settings according to requirements.
- Keeping work area clean and tidy, completing general house keeping duties.
- Understand and adhere to company Health and Safety policies and procedures.
The Person
- Previous experience using a laser cutting machine (1+ years).
- Good work ethic and attitude to problem solving.
- Forklift experience essential.
- Mechanically minded.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proven organisational skills with the ability to effectively plan, organise and control daily workload.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Ability to work under pressure and be fully dependable and reliable.
Evening Shift - Mon-Thu 2:30pm-11:30pm, Fri 11:30am-5:30pm
