Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Landscaper/Labourer to join our team. As a Landscaper/Labourer, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to landscaping and groundskeeping. This is a hands-on role that requires physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the construction and installation of landscape features, such as walkways, patios, and retaining walls.
- Operate hand tools and power tools to build and maintain landscapes.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, edging, and weeding.
- Plant flowers, shrubs, trees, and other vegetation.
- Dig trenches for irrigation systems and assist with irrigation installation.
- Clean and maintain equipment after each use.
- Follow safety protocols and use protective gear when necessary.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in laying patios and walls is required.
- Knowledge of hand tools and power tools commonly used in landscaping.
- Ability to perform physical labour for extended periods.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance.
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Note: This is a paid position with immediate start for self-employed individuals.
All jobs are in South London, including Clapham, Brixton, and Balham areas. Work days are from 8 am to 4 pm daily, with some Saturdays required, and extended hours may be necessary to meet project deadlines.
