Duties
- Perform general labour tasks such as loading and unloading materials, Site clearance, insulation, plasterboarding, painting, cleaning, moving rubbish, assisting with deliveries, assisting trades, general property maintenance and many other tasks as and when required that are typical of a Labourer/Multi skilled tradesman
- Assist skilled tradespeople in their duties, providing necessary support as required.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance at all times.
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Report any issues or hazards to the supervisor promptly.
Experience/Qualifications
- Manual Handing (required)
- Candidates must have a driving license, basic tools and power tools.
- Previous experience in a labour-intensive role is preferred
- Own transport is preferred
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills to interact with colleagues and supervisors effectively.
- A good understanding of health and safety practices in a work environment is advantageous.
- Physical fitness is important, as the role requires lifting, standing, and moving for extended periods.
- Role is in Liverpool City Centre and candidates should live locally within the Liverpool City Region and can travel to our head office for work
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: Up to £16.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 37.5 per week
