We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to lead our culinary team in a dynamic kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for food preparation and production. As a Kitchen Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Duties
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation.
- Manage and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen.
- Monitor inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate supplies.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
- Handle any customer feedback or concerns promptly and professionally.
Skills
- Proven leadership abilities with experience in team management within a kitchen setting.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food production processes.
- Experience as a cook or in a similar role within the hospitality or hotel industry.
- Familiarity with bartending is advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and other departments.
- A passion for delivering high-quality culinary experiences while maintaining a positive work atmosphere.

Pay: £13.11-£13.30 per hour
