Duties
- Assist in meal preparation and food preparation, ensuring all dishes are prepared according to recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Support catering operations by preparing and serving meals for events as required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during busy service periods.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, ensuring proper maintenance and cleanliness.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and restocking supplies as needed.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, including restaurant or catering experience.
- Strong culinary skills with an understanding of food safety practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation and presentation.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Pay: £12.50-£13.00 per hour
