As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen. You'll support the chefs and front-of-house team by maintaining cleanliness, managing waste, and ensuring all kitchen areas meet high hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:Maintain the cleanliness of all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen items using commercial dishwashing equipment
Dispose of waste appropriately and ensure rubbish areas are kept clean
Assist with receiving and storing deliveries correctly
Ensure floors are kept clean and free from hazards at all times
Support chefs with basic food preparation tasks when required
Follow all health and safety and food hygiene regulations
A team player with a strong work ethic
Good communication skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to learn and take on a variety of tasks
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
A flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends
