Kitchen Porter – The Park Restaurant at Cadbury Garden Centre
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our team at The Park Restaurant, based within Cadbury Garden Centre. This is a part-time position, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a busy kitchen environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
Working Hours:
- Monday: 6 hours
- Friday: 6 hours
- Sunday: 4 hours
Total: 16 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all kitchen and food preparation areas are kept clean, hygienic, and organised at all times
- Wash and properly store all kitchen utensils, dishes, pots, and pans
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, surfaces, sinks, and equipment
- Support chefs and kitchen staff by ensuring they have clean tools and work areas
- Handle deliveries and safely store food and kitchen supplies
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as required
- Follow all food safety and health & safety guidelines
- Dispose of waste appropriately and maintain a tidy work environment
Requirements:
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and physically able to carry out manual tasks
- Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not essential – full training will be provided
