It is cool, intriguing, bold and committed to sustainability - rather like our residents - and with everything available on The Other House app, it is their other house for as long as they are in town.
Role: Kitchen Porter
The Other House are looking for a dynamic and energetic Kitchen Porter who has a passion for supporting in the overall delivery of exceptional culinary experiences. This individual needs to have a passion and wish to develop with in the environment of a commercial kitchen with a focus on creating memorable moments through food. We are looking for an individual that effectively will support in the back of house delivery of an entrepreneurial dining experiences with a strong focus on sustainability and cutting-edge technology. For us, there is ‘inside the box’, there is ‘outside the box’ and then there is our Other House Mates – passionate, self-driven and completely comfortable with pushing the boundaries.
About you - We are looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen
- Passion for people and a desire to develop within your role and grow with the company
- Self-driven attitude and previous experience, working unsupervised
- Sustainable and creative mindset when it comes to cooking and food handling
- Good command of English – both verbally and written
- Clean, smart and professional appearance
- Positive, engaging personality
- Strong task and time management abilities
- The right to work in the UK
