Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic kitchen team. The Kitchen Porter plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen by supporting food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting chefs as needed. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for hospitality and a desire to learn more about the culinary arts. The position is for every Sunday only 10am-5pm but must be able to do extra hours if needed.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all surfaces are sanitised.
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils efficiently to support kitchen operations.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not essential.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are essential.
