The Role:
We’re looking for a reliable and hard-working Kitchen Porter to support our kitchen team in keeping everything clean, safe, and running smoothly. It’s a fast-paced, hands-on role that’s essential to the day-to-day running of the café kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash and sanitise pots, pans, dishes, and kitchen equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen and food prep areas
- Assist with basic food prep as required (peeling, portioning, etc.)
- Dispose of rubbish and recycling appropriately
- Ensure cleaning routines and hygiene standards are followed
- Support chefs and front-of-house team when needed
- Help with deliveries, stock rotation, and storage
What We’re Looking For:
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a busy kitchen
- Good level of physical fitness (the role involves standing and lifting)
- A team player who’s happy to get stuck in and help wherever needed
- No previous experience necessary – full training will be provided
- Punctual, reliable, and committed to maintaining high hygiene standards
