You will be helping to keep the kitchen clean and tidy, and ensuring all of the utensils, plates and cutlery are cleaned and ready for the kitchen and front of house staff when they need them.
Once you are established we will start to train you on your first steps towards becoming a chef
We only have a small team, so it is very important you have a positive, happy approach, and can work under pressure.
You must be reliable, hardworking, honest, and have a passion for cooking and food preparation.
Hours:
Initially it will be:
16.00 unit 23.00/23.30 in the week
12.00 unit 23.00/23.30 on Saturday
and 12.00 unit 16.00 on Sundays -sometimes
But this could be flexible, and additional shifts could be available to cover for holidays, busy weekends, and emergencies.
Skills we are looking for:
- Work under pressure
- Be organised, and able to follow the daily routines we have
- Know food safety regulations and make sure you are compliant
Experience:
- Ideally you have previously worked in a commercial kitchen, but it is not essential, as long as you can demonstrate your passion to work in the industry.
