We're excited to open the doors to our new café branch and are looking for friendly, reliable, and hardworking individuals to join our growing team. Our café is known for its warm atmosphere, great food, and commitment to quality—and we’re now on the lookout for a Kitchen Porter who takes pride in keeping things clean, safe, and running smoothly behind the scenes.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen areas, including dishwashing, mopping floors, and sanitising surfaces
- Wash, dry, and store all kitchen equipment, utensils, and crockery
- Assist chefs with basic food prep, deliveries, and stock rotation
- Ensure bins are emptied regularly and waste is managed properly
- Support the kitchen team with any other tasks as needed to keep service running smoothly
Requirements:
- A strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Previous experience in a similar role is a bonus, but not required—training will be provided
- Flexibility with shifts, including weekends and early mornings/late afternoons
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From £12.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 48 per week
