Duties
- Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
- Support chefs during service by ensuring all necessary utensils and ingredients are readily available.
- Help with the cleaning of kitchen equipment and appliances to ensure they are in good working order.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries of food supplies.
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere by collaborating effectively with kitchen staff.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods is advantageous.
