Responsibilities
- Manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Lead and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages skill development and teamwork.
- Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring consistency in presentation and taste while adhering to menu specifications.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene practices throughout the kitchen.
- Collaborate with management on menu planning, inventory control, and cost management strategies.
- Assist in training new staff members on culinary techniques and kitchen protocols.
- Handle customer feedback professionally, making adjustments as necessary to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and functioning efficiently.
Skills
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong culinary skills with a deep understanding of food preparation techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills to lead a diverse team and interact with guests.
- Experience in bartending is advantageous but not essential.
- A passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £13.50-£14.53 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
