Overview
We are seeking a skilled kitchen Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for full kitchen refurbishments from rip out to completio. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical principles and the ability to work with a variety of tools and materials. The successful applicant will contribute to our commitment to quality and efficiency in all projects. Either day rate or price work.
Duties
- Assemble and fit components using hand tools and power tools.
- kitchen rip outs and collection of materials
- floor preparation and vinyl floor laying
- all associated plumbing works
- wall preparation and wall tiling
- Apply plaster and paint finishes to surfaces as required.
- Build structures according to technical drawings and specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
Requirements
- Proven experience in fitting or a related field is essential.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools and own van required
- Experience in plumbing, plastering, painting, tiling and flooring
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to read technical drawings accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A proactive approach to health and safety standards in the workplace.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
