Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our team. The Kitchen Porter plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring that our chefs can focus on delivering exceptional dishes. Duties
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and food preparation areas.
- Wash, dry, and store kitchen utensils, pots, pans, and equipment.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs, including chopping vegetables and preparing ingredients.
- Help organise and maintain stock levels of kitchen supplies.
- Support chefs during busy service periods by ensuring a steady flow of clean equipment and utensils.
- Dispose of waste appropriately and ensure recycling protocols are followed.
- Assist in maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is advantageous but not essential.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques is preferred.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop culinary skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.35-£12.50 per hour
