We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting our kitchen operations, ensuring that food preparation and meal assembly are carried out efficiently and in compliance with food safety standards. Duties
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for meals, including washing, chopping, and measuring.
- Main Role will entail working in our back area on our dishwasher and preparing Desserts for our guests.
- Support chefs and cooks in executing menu items with precision and care.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Ensure all food safety protocols are adhered to, including proper storage of ingredients and maintaining hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods.
Requirements
- No previous experience is needed, all training will be provided.
- A basic understanding of food safety practices and regulations, training in full provided.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Weekend availability required.
- Perfect job for anyone wanting some extra cash to earn at the weekends. No experience needed, could be someone's first job!
- Must be 16 years old minimum.
