Are you ready to make a difference as our next Kitchen Assistant?
Are you passionate about food and want to make a real difference in people’s lives? We’re looking for a friendly and reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our team and help create delicious, nutritious meals for our residents.
Working alongside our Chef, you’ll play a key role in preparing and serving meals, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, and ensuring every resident receives the high-quality dining experience they deserve.
- Supporting the Chef with food preparation and meal service
- Maintaining a clean, hygienic, and safe kitchen environment
- Helping manage stock levels and kitchen supplies
- Preparing meals that meet individual dietary needs
- Using kitchen equipment safely and reporting any faults
- Working closely with the care team to understand residents’ preferences
- Promoting a respectful, person-centred approach in all interactions
- Supporting health & safety and food hygiene standards
- Completing mandatory training to continue developing your skills
What skills and experience are we looking for?
- Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- A team player with a proactive, can-do attitude
- Someone who takes pride in their work and attention to detail
- Respectful, polite, and passionate about delivering great service
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a supportive environment
