Lightwater Country Park Café is situated in Lightwater Country Park serving coffee, fresh juices and homemade food. We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant/Assistant Chef To work 3 to 5 days a week.
The successful candidate will be responsible for general duties associated with a busy kitchen.
- Work as a team to maintain excellent standards of food quality and service
- Food preparation
- Cleaning of the kitchen and equipment
- Ensure food hygiene and health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times.
- General kitchen duties e.g. washing up/loading the dishwasher
- Additional duties as and when requested by the Head Chef
Person Specification:
- Experience in a busy kitchen
- Familiarity with cafe style food
- Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate as a minimum
- Reliable and hard working
- Strong organisational skills
- Able to work on own initiative
