Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Merchandiser to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals who have a passion for retail and merchandising, and are eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced environment. The Junior Merchandiser will assist in the planning and execution of merchandising strategies, ensuring that our products are presented effectively to maximise sales and enhance customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of merchandising strategies that align with brand objectives.
- Supervise stock levels and ensure that inventory is well-organised and accurately displayed.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create visually appealing displays using Adobe Illustrator.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for product placement.
- Support administrative tasks related to merchandising, including reporting and data analysis.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences, providing insights to improve product offerings.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of merchandise.
- Maintain an organised workspace, ensuring all materials are readily available for merchandising activities.
Skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and other design software, showcasing creativity in visual merchandising.
- Excellent time management skills, enabling effective prioritisation of tasks in a busy environment.
- Leadership qualities with experience in supervising team members or projects preferred.
- Multilingual abilities are advantageous, enhancing communication with diverse customer bases.
- Strong administrative skills, ensuring accuracy in reporting and documentation.
- A keen eye for detail, particularly when it comes to product presentation and layout design.
