Are you passionate about nature, physical work, and learning the art of organic gardening? We’re looking for a Junior Gardener to join a dedicated team on a stunning private estate in Ascot, featuring wildflower meadows, ponds, hedges, and natural landscaping.
About the Role:
You’ll be supporting a small team of experienced horticulturists to maintain and enhance a diverse, organically managed landscape. This role offers hands-on experience in organic practices—no herbicides or pesticides—and is ideal for someone who wants to build their skills and grow within the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily manual weeding and general garden maintenance
- Working across varied terrain, including wildflower gardens, ponds, and hedgerows
- Supporting seasonal tasks such as planting, pruning, and composting
- Maintaining pathways and helping with landscaping projects
- Learning organic methods from a knowledgeable team
- Reporting daily progress and tasks to the lead gardener

- Physically fit and happy working outdoors in all weather
- Enthusiastic about organic gardening and sustainable land care
- Keen to learn and possibly pursue horticulture education
- Enjoys working as part of a collaborative, passionate team
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
