Role Overview
As a Junior Event Coordinator, you will assist with the organisation and management of marketing events from concept through to completion. You will work closely with senior event managers and the wider marketing team to ensure smooth event operations and memorable client experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and coordinating marketing events, including product launches, exhibitions, and promotional activities
- Support event logistics such as venue booking, catering, equipment hire, and transport arrangements
- Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of event requirements
- Help manage event budgets and track expenses
- Provide on-site support during events, ensuring everything runs smoothly and resolving any issues that arise
- Prepare event materials, including invitations, programmes, and signage
- Assist in post-event evaluation, including feedback collection and reporting
- Maintain event calendars and documentation

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively under pressure
- A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn
- Basic knowledge of event planning or marketing principles is desirable but not essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfortable with technology
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
