Join Our Team at Sea Cadets!
Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of young people? We're seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic volunteer instructor to join our expanding junior section at Sea Cadets.
The Role: As an instructor, you'll be a crucial part of our junior section's growth. We have two junior sections- 9 year olds meet on a Monday evening and 10-11 year olds meet on a Thursday evening. Ideally we would find someone that could cover leading both sections, but role sharing is possible.
No Experience Needed: We provide comprehensive training and unwavering support to all our volunteers. What we do ask for is a genuine passion for working with young minds and helping them develop essential life skills. While experience in nautical/adventurous activities would be great to have, these aren’t essential.
Why Join Us: By becoming a volunteer instructor, you'll contribute to fostering the next generation of cadets, building their confidence, leadership abilities, and teamwork skills. Plus, you'll form lasting friendships with fellow volunteers who share your dedication to making a positive impact.
Benefits: Not only will you be part of a rewarding mission, but you'll also gain valuable teaching experience and a chance to enhance your leadership abilities. Plus, the joy of watching young cadets flourish under your guidance is unparalleled.
Time Commitment: We understand life can get busy, so your commitment is just one evening a week, two evenings a week if possible, with some occasional weekend activities.
Ready to embark on this exciting journey with us? Join Sea Cadets as a volunteer instructor and help shape the future for our junior cadets! Contact us to find out more. Your adventure begins here!
