Overview
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-orientated individual to join our team in the production of astragal glazing bar sets. This hands -on role involves working from technical drawings and operating specialist machinery.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring that products are assembled efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Duties
- Manufacture and assemble astragal glazing bar sets
- Accurately cut bars to length based on technical drawings
- Set up and operate the OMGA astragal machine
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Assist with semi-skilled joinery preparation tasks
Key Skills & Attributes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Competence in using a tape measure
- Excellent attention to detail with strong quality-checking skills
- Consistent work pace and a methodical approach
- Reliable and able to follow production processes accurately
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of joinery preparation
- Sanding and finishing of joinery items
Full training will be provided.
