Overview
We are seeking a skilled Joiner / site fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in joinery and carpentry, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to produce high-quality work while adhering to safety standards. The Joiner will play a crucial role in constructing and assembling bespoke fitter furniture.
Duties
- Construct, assemble, and install bespoke fitted furniture such as wardrobes and internal panelling and wine rooms.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks.
- Ensure all work is plumb and level according to specifications.
- Perform repairs on existing structures, including painting and finishing touches.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on site, including electricians and roofers.
- Carry out heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in joinery or carpentry is essential.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in the trade.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices within the construction industry.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting when necessary.
- Previous experience with electrical work or roofing is advantageous but not mandatory.
