Overview
We’re on the lookout for a dedicated and capable HGV Jetting Engineer to become part of our team operating from the Chatham depot. This hands-on role involves detecting faults and blockages in the sewer system and using high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean and remove obstructions.
What the Role Involves:
- Collaborate as part of a two-person team operating advanced jetting and vacuumation vehicles.
- Support remote CCTV surveys when needed to evaluate the condition of underground drainage systems.
- Use high-pressure jetting tools to clear debris and blockages in pipelines, drains, and sewers.
- Communicate with clients and site personnel professionally and effectively.
- Keep digital job records up to date using electronic devices.
- Report any health and safety concerns promptly.
- Carry out routine checks on vehicles and jetting equipment to ensure proper function.
What We’re Looking For:
- A valid HGV Class 2 license, ideally with no more than 3 penalty points.
- A CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
- Comfortable using tablets or laptops for logging work and completing digital forms.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £13.00-£16.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
