This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Java engineer to join one of many agile squads in the Insurance Retail family, we are looking for someone who likes a challenge, wants to embrace a DevOps culture and brings ideas around improved ways of working. Key Responsibilities
You will be working with a squad responsible for the delivery, maintenance, and support of CDL products in the Finance domain. You will be closely involved in projects to migrate some of those products to the cloud as well as providing support and feature enhancements adhering to a product delivery roadmap.Skills Knowledge and Expertise
Essential- Strong Java development experience
- Experience of unit and integration testing
- Version control system (Git)
- Build Tools (Gradle or Maven)
- Significant experience with AWS or similar cloud platform
- UI development with Wicket or similar web application framework
- Working knowledge of Gitlab or GitHub
- Experience with infrastructure as code
- Experience with TDD
- Experience with React and Typescript
- Working knowledge of Kibana, Terraform
- Experience of AI tools such as Amazon Q developer
