We are hiring an Invest Operations Assistant to join our team; a team player with strong organisational and problem-solving skills, plus a passion for GoHenry’s mission of building financial literacy for future generations. In this role, you will be the go-to person for supporting our investment operations, helping to ensure smooth processes, timely resolutions, and outstanding service for our members and internal teams.
Our investment Ops team is based in Farnborough, Hampshire, and operates 8am-6pm, 5 days per week. This role is a full-time, fixed-term (37.5 hours a week) working Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm, with Bank Holidays on a rota basis. Flexibility will be required to work different hours as and when needed by the successful candidate to ensure the best level of service is provided to our GoHenry members.
Once probation has been successfully completed, we can look to support working from home a maximum of 2 days a week.
What you will do at GoHenry:
Work closely with the Investment Ops Team Leader to deliver excellent service and operational support for both our members and internal GoHenry teams.
Provide weekly updates to our finance partners
Deal with the transfer and rejection of finance products
Chase open queries with relevant departments and keeping communication with members up-to-date
Be available, visible, and able to answer any questions
Ensure processes and procedures are up-to-date and adhered to
Liaise with our Members on internal escalations ensuring all contact channels are updated
Onboard new Special Accounts through the correct due diligence process
Daily management of accounts and assisting with all queries relating to both new and exciting account holders
What you will bring to GoHenry:
Basic knowledge in investments (ideally stocks and shares ISAs).
Experience within a regulated environment.
Competent use of computer software to prepare reports and documents via Microsoft and/or Google-Suite systems.
A clear communicator and able to use diplomacy and sensitivity wherever needed.
A problem-solver who can assess a situation and identify possible solutions.
A confident and approachable people person.
Someone who cares and is passionate about what they are doing every day!
Someone who can keep calm in a crisis.
A self-starter who is motivated to kick-start your own projects, welcomes challenges, seeks feedback from others, asks “How can I help?” and then “How can we make this better?”
Shows perseverance on long-term goals, and generally goes above and beyond in their work.
