The Stockton Casting Company is looking for an enthusiastic experienced spray painter / finisher to join the team at our well established Foundry, preparing and finishing cast iron parts mainly used in the automotive industry.
Role requirements;
- To have knowledge of preparation techniques and use of spray painting / powder coating materials and tools.
- Have experience using grinders and hand tools to prepare parts prior to painting
- To have the skills to produce a high quality spray finish in primers and powder coating
- Experience operating spray paint oven and booth
- The ability and knowledge to maintain working environment and tools
- To pro-actively work with the management team to ensure tasks are planned, prioritised and delivered to customers specifications and requirements
- Ability to complete all relevant paperwork required
- Competent to ensure all tasks comply with statutory and company policies and procedures, keeping up to date with all relevant H/S and Environmental regulations
The role will be initially on day shift eventually moving to permanent nights which has a 20% shift allowance
Rates of pay from £12.73 to £13.89 dependent on time served and experience
