Our busy café located in the beautiful surroundings of St Annes sea front, is looking to recruit 1 Seasonal general ice-cream kiosk assistants for our beach kiosk to join our friendly team.
Job Purpose
As an ice-cream kiosk assistant, you are crucial to the smooth running and success of our kiosk and are highly valued. Some key responsibilities to ensure the kiosk runs smoothly include taking customer orders, maintaining clean counter environments, and great customer services. The right candidates must enjoy a fast and friendly environment with the ability to serve customers under pressure, whilst being friendly, polite, and efficient. You will be working on your own or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Serving customers efficiently, serving of cold beverages, ice-cream, sweets, chocolate and other food items.
- Cash handling and using the till.
- Deliver an exceptional level of customer service with the ability to build rapport with customers, building solid relationships resulting in repeat business
- Being knowledgeable about the products and services in the kiosk, giving advice, guidance and recommendations on products to customers to ensure a positive experience.
- Preparing and cleaning the kiosk, before, during and at the end of service to ensure it is ready for the next day.
- Ensuring adequate stock levels of supplies and consumables, maintaining stock rotation, restocking as needed.
- Providing assistance to other staff, as needed.
- Following company policies and adhering to health and safety guidelines
- Managing queues and meeting customer expectations.
- Actively promote and sell products and services. Upsell to maximise profit.

- Till experience.

- Team player skills, assisting other colleagues when necessary.

- Experience and enthusiasm to contribute and fully support the running of the kiosk, combined with the ability to work well under pressure.

Salary: Excellent rate of pay.
