Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team at BPH Attachments. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating hydraulic attachments for excavators, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and performance. Your expertise will contribute directly to our mission of delivering top-notch products and services to our customers.
Key Duties:
· To prepare new sale Hydraulic Excavator Attachments for dispatch.
· To assess, service and repair Hydraulic Excavator Attachments in the workshop and on site.
· To attend Attachment installs and breakdowns on site
· Adjust customers excavator flows and pressures to suit the attachment / customer requirements on site (training provided if necessary)
· Keep the workshop area allocated to the job function in a clean and tidy condition.
· Ensure that the Company health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
Key Competencies:
· Experience of working with hydraulic excavator attachments
· Experience in adjusting and setting hydraulic flows and pressures on excavators a bonus
· Clean current driving licence
· Forklift truck trained (training can be provided)
· Attention to detail
· Able to work under own initiative but also a team player
· Willing to learn new skills and methods
